Alex Blondeau was born in France in 1996, she received her dance training from Conservatoire National Supérieur of Lyon. After graduation in 2017 she joined Bielefeld Stadttheater in Germany where she collaborated with Lali Ayguade and Simone Sandroni.

Once back in France she worked with Maguy Marin and performed the piece « May B ».
She also collaborated with other artists such as Luc Petton, Davy Brun, Harris Gkekas.
In 2020 Alex joined Cullberg in Stockholm where she discovered the work of different Scandinavian artists such as Alma Söderberg.

Invited to join Rosas in 2021, she moved to Brussels to participate in the restaging of Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker’s masterpiece « Drumming ».

Alongside her free lance dance work, Alex is doing a Master in journalism.
She joined Skånes Dansteater in the beginning of the 21-22 season for Anouk Van Dijk’s production « Out of the blue ».

It’s also in 2021 that she meets Laura Arend and that they start to collaborate together for the duet « ANNA ».
