Showcasing Diverse Dance Styles Performed by Youth Groups (8–15 years)
"Spend a morning with Dance Festival Malta, enjoying masterclasses and workshops led by our international and local lineup of expert teachers, tailored to help you grow and learn."
We are excited to announce the 4th edition of the Youth Dance Platform as part of Dance Festival Malta 2025, providing a unique opportunity for young local dancers to explore professional performing arts in a supportive, inclusive, and non-competitive environment. This platform encourages creative expression, fostering connections between educators, dancers, choreographers, and organisations. We invite applications from youth groups, and schools across Malta and Gozo to present a finished work or work-in-progress.
What We Offer:
This event aims to celebrate the skills, talent, and creativity of young dancers from across the Maltese islands. It provides an opportunity for aspiring dancers to share their work in a stripped-back, informal setting without costumes or lighting, allowing them to focus on their artistic expression. Each performance will be followed by a feedback session, moderated by a leading dance educator. This is a valuable moment for participants to receive constructive insights to support their ongoing dance journeys.
