Festivals Malta Agency, the national agency to nurture creativity, professionalism, participation, and cultural education in arts festivals is engaging a service provider to serve as a Marketing officer under the supervision of the Marketing Manager to implement and support Festivals Malta agency in designing Marketing campaigns and in the execution and implementation of all marketing strategies
The service shall be remunerated at €25,000 for twelve months which may be renewed for further one-year periods subject to successful performance by the contractor. Payment shall be effected on a monthly period upon receipt of a valid VAT invoice by the Contractor.
SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED
Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns;
Coordinating design jobs with the creatives;
Coordinating with third parties to develop material required for marketing campaigns;
Coordinating PR and communication plans;
Reviewing campaign performance and tweaking the campaigns accordingly;
Processing Bookings with Media Providers;
Monitoring visibility of the campaigns;
Updating marketing budgets;
Writing articles and PR;
Updating website content;
Assisting in the coordination of marketing projects from start to finish;
Planning and Coordinating press conferences;
Overseeing social media campaigns and content marketing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Degree at MQF Level 6 in Marketing, communications or related field.
At least 2 years experience in a marketing role.
Proven project management skills.
Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
Strong copywriting skills.
Attention to detail.
Professional and proactive work ethic.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Competency in Adobe Creative Suite software is considered an asset.

Eligible applicants will be assessed by a Selection Board to determine their suitability for the post. The maximum mark for this selection process is 100% and the pass mark is 60%.
