Il-Ministru għall-Wirt Nazzjonali, l-Arti u l-Gvern Lokali Owen Bonnici nieda l-programm għan-Notte Bianca 2023 li ser tittella’ nhar is-Sibt 7 ta’ Ottubru. Organizzata minn Festivals Malta, Notte Bianca toffri spettaklu diversifikat ta’ arti performattiva u viżiva, bis-sehem ta’ diversi artisti lokali u internazzjonali.
Il-Ministru Bonnici spjega li din is-sena ser ikun hemm ’l fuq minn 60 attività bl-involviment ta’ aktar minn 250 artist, bil-maġġoranza tagħhom huma lokali. “In-Notte Bianca huwa investiment dirett u kontinwu fis-settur kulturali u kreattiv li qiegħed ikompli jiżviluppa u jikber, b’mod li qed isir dejjem iktar aċċessibbli għall-artisti, il-kreattivi u s-soċjetà tagħna kollha kemm hi,” tenna l-Ministru Bonnici.
Min-naħa tiegħu, iċ-Chairman ta’ Festivals Malta, Aaron Zahra spjega kif permezz ta’ Notte Bianca, l-Belt Valletta tinbidel f’lejla mimlija kultura li tinkludi mużika, teatru, żfin u installazzjonijiet tal-għola kwalità, kif ukoll attivitajiet edukattivi għat-tfal u għall-familja kollha. “Notte Bianca jirnexxielha tesponi lil Malta bħala destinazzjoni kulturali billi toffri avvenimenti divertenti u ta’ valur edukattiv kif ukoll dak artistiku lill-udjenzi tagħha,” qal is-Sur Zahra u kompla jispjega li din is-sena Festivals Malta se jkollha mappa interattiva fuq is-sit elettroniku tagħha sabiex tkun aktar faċli għall-udjenza biex issib l-avvenimenti li jattiraw il-gosti tagħha.
“Ta’ kull sena, Festivals Malta qed taħdem biex mhux biss tagħmel Notte Bianca aktar aċċessibbli u organizzata, iżda biex ukoll dejjem ngħollu l-livell tal-avvenimenti tagħna biex il-pubbliku jkun jista’ jgawdi l-festivals tagħna bl-aħjar mod,” temm jgħid is-Sur Zahra.
Il-Kap Eżekuttiv ta’ Festivals Malta Frans Agius sostna li permezz ta’ Notte Bianca, il-Belt Valletta tinbidel f’festa ta’ kuluri, fejn l-arti u l-kultura tirrenja, u t-talent ta’ diversi artisti lokali u internazzjonali jżewwaq kull rokna tal-Belt Kapitali. Huwa spjega li fost l-aspetti li jispikkaw f’Notte Bianca ta’ din is-sena huma d-diversi kollaborazzjonijiet li l-Aġenzija għanda ma’ entitajiet statali, NGOs, u għaqdiet oħra li kollha se jagħtu l-kontribut tagħhom permezz ta’ produzzjonijiet oriġinali b’temi soċjali, u oħrajn informattivi.
Id-Direttur Artistiku tal-Festival Antoine Farrugia spjega li l-programm għal din is-sena jinkludi ’l fuq minn 60 proġett varjat fuq seba’ rotot artistiċi, fejn l-artisti se jkunu qed jagħtu spettaklu lill-udjenzi. Huwa ħabbar li l-artisti tal-main stage ta’ din is-sena ser ikunu AIDAN, Ivan Grech & Band u l-band popolari Taljana Le Vibrazioni. “Kull min ser iżur Notte Bianca, żgur se jsib xi proġett li jolqtu u nħeġġeġ lill-familji u lil dawk li jħobbu l-arti u l-mużika sabiex jattendu għan-Notte Bianca,” temm jgħid is-Sur Farrugia

Festivals Malta launches the programme for Notte Bianca 2023
More than 60 events and 250 artists for another memorable night
The programme for Notte Bianca 2023, which will take place on Saturday 7th October, was launched by the Minister for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government, Owen Bonnici. Organised by Festivals Malta, Notte Bianca offers a diversified show of performative and visual art, with the participation of various local and international artists.
Minister Bonnici explained that this year over 60 activities will take place during Notte Bianca, featuring more than 250 artists, the majority of whom are local. “Notte Bianca represents a continuous and direct investment in the cultural sector, which is evolving to make this platform more accessible to both our creatives and the Maltese society as a whole," stated Minister Bonnici.
Festivals Malta Chairman, Aaron Zahra explained how through Notte Bianca, Valletta is transformed into a cultural evening filled with music, theatre, dance and installations of the highest calibre, as well as educational activities for children and for the whole family. “Notte Bianca succeeds in promoting Malta as a cultural destination by offering entertaining and educational events with artistic value to our audiences," stated Mr Zahra, whilst explaining that this year Festivals Malta has implemented an interactive map on the festival’s website in order to facilitate the audience’s process of finding specific events.
"Each year, Festivals Malta is working to not only make Notte Bianca more accessible and organised, but also to continue raising the bar so that the public can enjoy our festivals in the best way possible," concluded Mr Zahra.
Festivals Malta CEO, Frans Agius said that through Notte Bianca, Valletta turns into a festival of colours, where art and culture reign and where local and international artists alike showcase their talents at every corner of our Capital City. He continued that this year’s Notte Bianca will also feature the various collaborations the Agency has with state entities, NGOs, and other organisations that are all giving their contribution through original productions with various social and informative themes.
Notte Bianca’s Artistic Director Antoine Farrugia explained that this year, over 60 varied projects categorised in seven artistic routes will feature during Notte Bianca, whereby artists will give a spectacular show for the audiences. He also announced that this year's main stage artists will be AIDAN, Ivan Grech & Band, and the popular Italian band Le Vibrazioni. “Surely everyone who will visit Notte Bianca will find a project to their liking, and I encourage families and lovers of arts, culture, and music to come and celebrate with us," concluded Mr Farrugia.
